Five Israeli citizens, presumably undercover Mossad agents, have been caught on video kidnapping an Iranian minister from his Moscow hotel room. The suspects — including a chemist, a preschool teacher and a bride on her wedding day — watch the fuzzy footage in disbelief and insist – we were framed.

The show was acquired by HULU, as well as Fox International to be broadcasted in 127 counties in what was considered “biggest programming deal of the market” that year. It was Fox’s first acquisition of a foreign-language series on a global scale. The show was aired in Latin America last month and will be broadcasted on Fox channels in 22 European countries from July to October.

False Flag broke existing drama records in Israel: It has become the highest ever-rated launch of a scripted show in first prime. The show garnered average ratings of 26.4%, making it the most-watched drama series in Israel.

False Flag had its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival and won the Grand Prix at France's Series Mania festival (2015). Based on its success, False Flag was acquired by the French Canal Plus and aired last year on prime time
